Description of Company-
Uniconn Productions is an animation production company that provides clay animation, 3d and flash animation for the film and television industries worldwide as well as for the corporate world.
History of Company-
Michael P. Connelly is the owner, founder and creative force behind Uniconn Productions. It all started back in 1990 when Michael secured his first job doing clay animation Bible stories for a company associated with Pat Boone (the famous pop singer from the 1950s and 1960s). He was contacted by a producer (working with Mr. Boone) after he saw one of Michael's clay animation short films on a local cable channel in Malibu, California. Michael's short film titled Rock Killed The Dinosaurs was the winner of a film festival that was hosted by the local cable channel called KBU. The producer happened to see Michael's film on TV one night. He liked what he saw and he decided that Michael's clay animation talent could be utilized for producing a series of stories from The Bible. Michael gave them the animation they wanted, and then he decided to start a production company that specialized in clay animation.
Michael chose the name Uniconn Productions for his company because it will always remind him that it all began with one (Uni) person named Connelly (Conn). This is a very important reminder to Michael for it reminds him of the passion that was required in the beginning of his career to create animation entirely on his own that people notice and like. Michael has vowed to never lose that passion, and that is what drives his creativity. This passion is applied to every project that Michael works on, and it is the reason Uniconn Productions is an award winning company that always provides a quality product.
Over the years Michael has produced a vast amount of work for a wide variety of clients doing anything form sculpting prototypes of characters and building miniature sets to animating, directing and producing animated projects. The subject matter of these projects has varied greatly. The list of clients includes such names as Pat Boone Productions, MTV, FOX TV, and UPN Channel 13 in Los Angeles. With a style completely of his own, Michael's animation can be funny, dramatic, scary, clever, interesting and inspiring, but most of all...enjoyable. He has won many awards including a much coveted Silver Award at the 1998 Houston Worldfest for his film Mike And The Magic Lamp.
A few years after Michael founded Uniconn Productions he began to branch out into other areas of animation other than clay animation. Today Uniconn Productions has expanded its list of services to include 3d (computer) and Flash animation as well.
Clay animation" Bumpers" for television shows, music videos, independent films, web sites and corporate videos are some of the types of projects that Uniconn Productions has provided in the past two decades to it's clients. Whether it is 2 seconds or twenty minutes of animation, Michael P. Connelly and Uniconn Productions have always delivered what their clients requested at prices that were the lowest available for this type of work.
